Hot Rolled Steel Bars

Steel billets of various grades (Mild,Carbon and Alloy steel) are rolled at temperatures above 1000 degree centigrade to render Hot Rolled Bars. During the process, the steel is processed at temperatures beyond its recrystallization temperature, which allows it to be molded in myriad shapes like:

  • Flat
  • Round
  • Square
  • Hexagon

The resultant products are malleable & ductile. Notably, hot rolled steel bars are less expensive than cold rolled bars since they do not require further processing. Hot rolled steel bars are used in engineering applications that do not require very close tolerances. Hot rolled bars are widely used in the following applications:

  • Trailers
  • Walkways
  • Ramps
  • Structural Support
  • Axles
  • Machinery
  • Ratchets
  • General Fabrication
  • Bolts
  • Shafts
  • Others
